I am currently in my 36th week of pregnancy (LMP - 27/9/24). At 32 week's checkup doctor had told that the baby's growth is lagging by one week. After 34th week growth scan, the baby's growth lag has increased to 2 weeks.
BPD: 34w 3d HC: 32w 5d AC: 32w 3d FL: 34w 0d
During today's checkup doc told that the lag has increased to apprx. 2 weeks and 3 days. Hence doctor suggested that we fix the delivery before 40 weeks, ie. by around 38 weeks.
Is it possible to have a normal delivery in this case or it will be c section?
Does the baby's growth lag give rise to any serious health issues or illness for the baby?
